Kevin Tran

Kevin Tran is a passionate, strategic, results-oriented financial leader and accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience spanning the public accounting space in which he specialized in the manufacturing and financial services niche, private industry with several Fortune 500 companies in the manufacturing and entertainment industry, and within the not-for-profit sector. 

Kevin has been with Heluna Health since May 2016.  In his current role, Kevin is responsible for the overall financial management of the organization, having oversight of financial planning and analysis, controllership covering accounting and controls, reporting, and treasury as well as providing strategic planning and execution.  Prior to his current role, Kevin was the Controller for Heluna Health where he steered the organization’s financial reporting, including external, board and management reporting, accounting policy and financial management systems.  Kevin started out his career in public accounting where he earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.  After public accounting, he joined Avery Dennison for several years as part of the SEC Financial Reporting Team that prepared the filings of 10-K’s/Q’s and performed technical research.  The next decade of his career was spent with The Walt Disney Company in one of the business units within their cable networks group.  Kevin also spent several years at DreamWorks Animation and Comcast/NBCUniversal within their Corporate Studio Segment.

Kevin is an active CPA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and California Board of Accountancy.  Kevin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and a minor in Economics at California State University of Los Angeles.
