Heluna Health is proud to congratulate Kiran Saluja, Executive Director of PHFE WIC, who recently received the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award from the California Department of Public Health/Women, Infants, and Children’s Division (CDPH WIC). This prestigious honor recognizes her decades of unwavering commitment to the California WIC Program and the communities it serves.
PHFE WIC has been a program of Heluna Health since 1976, and throughout her tenure of more than 40 years, Kiran has led the program with purpose and compassion. Under her leadership, PHFE WIC has continued to grow, now the largest WIC program in the country supporting more than 190,000 women, children, and families each month.
In addition to leading PHFE WIC, Kiran has been a thoughtful collaborator and trusted partner to Heluna Health’s leadership — bringing insight, perspective, and heart to our shared work in public health. Kiran is a passionate advocate and tireless champion for the WIC program, staff, and families, and her vision and dedication have left a lasting mark on WIC and the public health sector.
