Health Resources Index
How do public health resources across local communities compare? Heluna Health’s Local Public Health Resources Index (LPHRI) provides a new data tool that allows for quick comparisons of key resources, including public health workforce levels, clinical laboratory and pharmacy workforce levels, public health expenditures, and wastewater surveillance.
In 2023, Heluna Health launched COPI as the Community Outbreak Preparedness Index, a tool designed to assess local capacity for responding to communicable disease outbreaks. Building on this foundation, we established the Center for Outbreak Preparedness Insights and developed the Local Public Health Resources Index, an enhanced tool focused on evaluating public health resources more broadly. This evolution reflects our ongoing commitment to improving community health and preparedness.
